Meeting Minutes
April 5, 2004
Location: W. Bridgewater Public Library
Meeting called to order at 7:10PM by Mike Enos. Present were Kent Kreutler, Jim Revil, Dale Higgins and Jim Howell.
Minutes had been distributed by email previously and were accepted.
Old Business: Kent had prepared and sent out a mission statement to us previously. This was happily accepted. He also had contacted the NRTB to see if we will be able to use their web site. This is an important step.
We had discussed cleaning along the river on our previous meetings. The initial action for this committee is a limited clean up planned for the area of the Scotland St. Bridge. This is scheduled for April 24, 04 at 10:00AM at that site. We feel a pickup truck will be adequate. The WB Public Works will be contacted again about taking the debris we accumulate. They had agreed in a previous conversation.
New Business: Jim Revil has been in touch with several organizations in Bridgewater and has found encouraging willingness to contributeto our goals with physical help and possibly fundraising.
We will have another meeting in a month to evaluate our maiden effort and then plan our next steps. Mike Enos will arrange that next meeting at the Bridgewater Public Library.
