Scotland Street Bridge Cleanup
May 22, 2004

We collected tires, TV's, microwave ovens, auto parts, bottles and yes, even a motorcycle frame dredged from the bed of the Town River at Scotland Street in West Bridgewater. Eight hearty souls braved the damp chill and mosquitos to help with the cleanup.

Loading trash from Scotland Street bridge area

Mike Enos, Jay Foster, Ralph Galante, Fran Jeffries, Kent Kreutler, Alexander Lammie, Mike Needham and Jim Revil all pitched in and did a great job with this first official cleanup by the TRSC.

UPDATE- September 2004: Jim Howell contacted Cumberland Farms to inquire about cleaning up items near the entrance to one of their fields on Scotland Street. John Bugner, a Construction Supervisor for Cumberland Farms, not only made arrangements to dispose of the items, but installed a chain gate to block entry to the field. We greatly appreciate John's efforts. > view photo
